ANB’s board proposes SAR 900m dividends for H2-22

Riyadh – Mubasher: The board of Arab National Bank (ANB) recommended interim cash dividends after Zakat worth SAR 900 million, representing 6% of the capital, for the second half (H2) of 2022.

Under the board’s proposal which was determined on 20 December 2022, the lender would disburse SAR 0.60 per share for 1.50 billion eligible shares, according to a bourse disclosure.

Meanwhile, the distribution date for the H2-22 dividends will be unveiled at a later time.

In the first nine months (9M) of 2022, ANB generated SAR 2.28 billion net profits, higher by 32.56% year-on-year (YoY) than SAR 1.72 billion.

Earnings per share (EPS) increased to SAR 1.52 in 9M-22 from SAR 1.15 in 9M-21.

During the third quarter (Q3) of 2022, the bank’s net profits amounted to SAR 921 million, a growth of 38.50% from SAR 665 million in the year-ago period.
